Doug Beabout

BIO

Doug Beabout brings 29 years of expertise in top billings, placement firm ownership, and international recruiting training.   His reputation for excellence and straightforward recruiting has placed him, repeatedly, as a guest speaker and writer for the premier national, regional, local, and international personnel services associations.

Doug also maintains an exhaustive schedule as coach and in-house trainer for franchised and independent personnel services firms.   He’s owner and president of Doug Beabout, CPC, a personnel services and recruiter training company.   Doug brings his own trench-level skills, earned daily at his own recruiter’s "desk."   As a respected industry speaker and trainer, Doug speaks to thousands of personnel services professionals every year and is "tuned-in" to today’s unique practices necessary to excel in the recruiting industry.

As a board member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) and the president of the Ohio State Staffing Association (OSSA), Doug is aware of the special needs of our industry. Since 1985, he has successfully established over four hundred recruiting firms in the U.S. and internationally.

As an executive officer of a major recruiting franchisor, Doug has established hundreds of professional placement firms and placement consultants and researchers.   Prior to that, he was owner and founder of a successful contingency and retained placement firm for 10 years in Dayton, Ohio.   His initial placement experience was gained as a placement consultant in a contingency placement firm.

Doug has held the title of CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) since 1981 and also carries the CSP badge of professionalism.   Doug’s early professional experience started as a USAF commissioned Officer in Strategic Air Command in B-52 bombers throughout the continental U.S. and the Pacific.   He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Comprehensive Training and Education.
