Dan Simmons & Jim Hipskind have been published recently in the Fordyce Letter as well as presenters at Top Echelon Network national conventions and conferences for the past 4 years, both individually and together. In 2005 they also wrote and recorded 5 training sessions for new Top Echelon members. Simmons & Hipskind were the main speakers at the Top Echelon Fall Conference in Chicago in October 2005. After encouragement from Top Echelon members, Dan & Jim are going public with their training and are sharing ideas from their combined 33 years in the recruiting industry.
Dan Simmons, CPC, is the founder and owner of Continental Search & Outplacement, Inc. in Baltimore, MD. Dan has been recruiting since 1991 and an owner since 1996. He recruits and runs a desk daily. Dan was recently featured as a guest speaker on one of Gary Stauble’s roundtable tele-conferences.
Dan is active in the recruiting industry, working a desk full time. He has been a member of the Maryland Recruiters Association Board of Directors since 2003, and is an active member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS). He has been a Member of the Top Echelon Advisory Council multiple times and consistently since 2003. Dan’s firm has won many honors in the Top Echelon Network and he has individually won 12 production awards in the last 3 years with Top Echelon including Placer of the Year in both 2003 & 2004.
Jim Hipskind, CPC is the owner of Midwest HeadHunters, Inc. in Marinette, WI. He has been recruiting since 1986 and started his own firm in 1995. Jim recruits daily, recruiting throughout the manufacturing industry.
Jim has been a productive member of many of the nation’s top recruiting networks including Top Echelon Network. He has been an active member of the Top Echelon Advisory Council for many years, is a member of the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS).
